IMPORTANT: READ BEFORE USING

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (“User,” “you,” “your”) and Entropic State (“Licensor,” “we,” “us,” “our”) for the use of the Entropic State Mod Manager and associated mod software (“Software”).

BY INSTALLING, COPYING, OR OTHERWISE USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.

1. Definitions

  • “Software” means the Entropic State Mod Manager, all mods distributed through it (including but not limited to VIEWPOINT), updates, patches, and related files.
  • “License” means the right to use the Software as granted under this Agreement.
  • “Subscription” means an active paid membership through authorized platforms (Patreon).
  • “Trial” means a time-limited free access period for evaluation purposes.

2. License Grant

2.1 Grant of License

Subject to the terms of this Agreement, we grant you a:

  • Limited - Specific rights only as stated herein
  • Non-exclusive - We may license to others
  • Non-transferable - You may not transfer to others
  • Revocable - We may terminate as described herein

license to use the Software for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2.2 Scope of License

This License permits you to:

  • Install the Entropic State Mod Manager on your devices
  • Download and install mods you have access to (via trial or subscription)
  • Use the Software with Grand Theft Auto V for personal enjoyment
  • Use the Software on multiple devices you personally own and control

2.3 Access Models

Access to mods is provided through one of the following models:

Entropic Pass (Subscription): An active monthly subscription on Patreon grants access to every Entropic State mod (currently VIEWPOINT; additional mods as they are released to the tier), all their updates, and both editions of each mod (Legacy D3D11 + Enhanced D3D12) for the duration of the subscription. Upon cancellation, you retain a perpetual license to every version of each mod released while you were subscribed, together with any earlier versions you were eligible for (all re-downloadable through the Mod Manager) but receive no further updates, new versions, or newly released mods until you re-subscribe.

Trial: A limited free trial period (typically 3 days) grants temporary access to all mods for evaluation. When the trial expires, your License is revoked unless you subscribe.

3. Restrictions

You may NOT:

3.1 Modification and Reverse Engineering

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive source code from the Software
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices or labels
  • Bypass, disable, or circumvent any license validation or protection mechanisms

3.2 Distribution and Transfer

  • Copy, distribute, publish, or transfer the Software to any third party
  • Rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the License
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access the Software through your account
  • Upload the Software to any file-sharing service or public repository

3.3 Commercial Use

  • Use the Software for any commercial purpose
  • Incorporate the Software into any commercial product or service
  • Use the Software to create content for commercial distribution without authorization

3.4 Harmful Use

  • Use the Software in conjunction with cheating software or exploits
  • Use the Software in any way that violates the terms of service of Grand Theft Auto V
  • Use the Software to harass, harm, or infringe upon the rights of others

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. Entropic State retains all right, title, and interest in the Software, including all intellectual property rights. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights.

4.2 Third-Party Components

The Software may include third-party libraries and components subject to their own licenses. Such licenses are included with the Software where applicable.

4.3 Trademarks

  • “Entropic State,” “VIEWPOINT,” and associated logos are trademarks of Entropic State
  • Grand Theft Auto, GTA, and related marks are trademarks of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc.
  • This Software is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

5.1 “AS IS” Basis

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

5.2 No Guarantees

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Software will meet your requirements
  • The Software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
  • The results obtained from the Software will be accurate or reliable
  • Any errors in the Software will be corrected
  • The Software will be compatible with any particular version of Grand Theft Auto V
  • Use of the Software will not result in bans, account actions, or other consequences from third parties

5.3 Assumption of Risk

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT USE OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM, LOSS OF DATA, OR OTHER HARM THAT RESULTS FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 Exclusion of Damages

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ENTROPIC STATE BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses
  • Damages resulting from game crashes, save file corruption, or progress loss
  • Damages resulting from bans or account actions by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive, or any online service
  • Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid for the Software in the 12 months preceding the claim

6.2 Essential Purpose

THE LIMITATIONS IN THIS SECTION APPLY EVEN IF ANY REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Entropic State and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Software
  • Your violation of this Agreement
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your violation of any applicable laws

8. Term and Termination

8.1 Term

This Agreement is effective until terminated.

8.2 Termination by You

You may terminate this Agreement at any time by:

  • Uninstalling and destroying all copies of the Software
  • Requesting account deletion

8.3 Termination by Us

We may terminate this Agreement immediately without notice if you:

  • Breach any term of this Agreement
  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct
  • Initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us
  • Use the Software in any prohibited manner

8.4 Effect of Termination

Upon termination:

  • All rights granted under this Agreement cease immediately
  • You must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software
  • Sections 4, 5, 6, 7, and 10 survive termination
  • No refunds will be provided for termination due to your breach

9. Updates and Modifications

9.1 Software Updates

We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. Such updates may be required for continued use and may modify or remove features.

9.2 Agreement Modifications

We may modify this Agreement at any time. Changes will be communicated through the Launcher or our website. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. General Provisions

10.1 Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Israel. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

10.3 Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.

10.4 Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy, constitutes the entire agreement regarding the Software.

10.5 No Waiver

Failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

10.6 Assignment

You may not assign this Agreement. We may assign it without restriction.

  • You are at least 18 years of age
